About the event
We are delighted to announce that we will be hosting SNyMS's conference for early-career researchers on September 9th, 2026. This event will provide young scholars with a collegial space to present current research, receive feedback, and engage in critical exchange with peers from across disciplines. The conference will take place from 10:45 to 16:45 at the University of Lucerne (Frohburgstrasse 3, 6002 Lucerne, Seminar room 4.B01).
Speakers will give a 10–15 minute presentation of their ongoing research projects, followed by a 10–15 minute discussion and feedback round. The conference follows the principle of “chacun·e sa langue”: participants are encouraged to present in the language in which they are most comfortable (French, German, Italian or English). Discussions will be multilingual.
The conference is open to SNyMS members and people interested in joining SNyMS. Participants should register by the 25th of August 2026.
