About the event
This year, the doctoral seminar of the Center for Migration Law (CDM) and the Swiss Network of young Migration Scholars (SNyMS) will take place for the 9th time. The seminar brings together early stage scholars who research the legal and political dimensions of migration. The seminar provides a unique platform for doctoral students at all stages of their PhD to present their research (from a research proposal, to a chapter, a paper, an idea or a methodological approach) in an intimate setting.
We can exceptionally offer a few additional slots for presentations by scholars interested in participating in the seminar. We therefore invite doctoral students working on migration related topics from all disciplines (in particular, but not exclusively sociology, law, political science, geography, (social) anthropology, philosophy, political theory, economics) interested in participating to send a short statement of interest and a title for their presentation.
Statements of interest shall be sent until 20 July 2021 by email to migrationscholars@gmail.com.
